Opinel - The Classic Board

-Not dishwasher safe. The board should be sponge washed and dried immediately.

MAINTENANCE STAGE

1-Clean

To start, clean your board with a brush and dishwashing liquid.

Wash it with lukewarm water, rub and rinse.

For a more powerful cleaning, you can add white vinegar and rub with salt using a cloth, leave for 10 minutes, then rinse.

2-Dry

An important step is drying your board.
Dry it carefully with a cloth and let it air dry so that all the moisture escapes.

3-Feed the wood

The third and final step is very important to ensure that the wood of your board is protected and keeps a nice appearance.

Use a dry cloth to apply cooking oil (preferably grapeseed oil).

Remember to rub well in the direction of the fibers so that the oil absorbs well and the wood is well nourished.
