3 levels of automation

• Autopilot Mode — this is the "push-button" mode. You insert an "xPod" or an NFC card plus the beans, and the machine automatically adjusts the grind, temperature, water flow… In short, all the work is done for you. Perfect if you want a consistent, quick, and hassle-free coffee.
• Copilot Mode — the "à la carte" mode. You use the beans of your choice, create (or download) your recipe via the app, adjust the parameters (temperature, grind, volume, pouring method, etc.), and the machine executes your "house recipe." Ideal for enthusiasts who want to control the taste, test different profiles, and personalize their coffee.
• FreeSolo Mode — the "purist/manual" mode. You have total control: you use the grinder, scale, and brewing unit separately. You adjust everything yourself — grind, weight, temperature, pouring rate… — to replicate a barista ritual. This is handy if you want to experiment or simply use the components (grinder, scale…) for something other than coffee.

• Advanced recipe customization : the app allows you to create, save and modify coffee “recipes” — grind, temperature, water/bean ratio, pouring speed and pattern, number of infusions, etc. You can tailor the coffee precisely to your beans.

• Sharing & discovering recipes : you can not only save your own settings, but also import those of other users or roasters: handy if you want to test different profiles without starting from scratch.

• Real-time visualization : the app displays live the progress of the extraction — ratios, infusion phases — which helps to analyze the result and fine-tune the parameters.

• Simplified connections & convenient control : the app connects via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, making it more intuitive to use than just the machine's buttons, and facilitating adjustments without complex manipulations.

• Flexibility and ease of use : even without xPods—and therefore with "free" beans—the app allows you to precisely control the grinder, scale, and brewing process. It's ideal for those who want to experiment with different coffees or refine their brewing method.
