The Facette dark ash set offers four table knives with a smooth, full-tang stainless steel blade . It has a very good, resharpenable edge. The dark ash handle, a stabilized wood , is comfortable in the hand.

These knives bring a unique style to the table, both chic and traditional.

Hardness 55-57 HRC. Origin Europe.

The stainless steel of OPINEL blades is a grade optimized to guarantee both high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical performance.

The blade offers excellent sharpness and high resistance to abrasion (wear) which allows it to withstand regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramic, before requiring resharpening. Stainless steel has the advantage of requiring no special maintenance under normal use conditions, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when placed in prolonged contact with an aggressive environment (acid, salt water, detergent, etc.).

Ash turns dark after thermal stabilization at its core. This treatment makes the wood more water-resistant; however, we recommend hand-washing these knives only to preserve them.
